Ignite Pizzeria Is now open in Lower Lonsdale

Our fifth location brings stone-fired pizza, pasta and a covered patio to the heart of North Vancouver.

Ignite Pizzeria is officially open at 101 Lonsdale Avenue, on the northwest corner of 1st Street and Lonsdale Avenue. Steps from the SeaBus, our first North Shore location is open for dine-in, pickup and delivery six days a week.

A New Neighbourhood for Ignite

Since opening our first location in Mount Pleasant in 2017, Ignite has grown across Gastown, Yaletown and South Surrey. Lower Lonsdale marks our fifth location and an exciting next step for the team.

“Lower Lonsdale has such an incredible, vibrant food scene, and we’ve been waiting for the perfect space to bring Ignite across the bridge,” says Umut Turnali, Principal of Ignite Pizzeria. “We wanted to build a spot that feels like a true community hub—whether you’re grabbing a quick slice on the way to the SeaBus or sitting down with a glass of wine and a pizza with friends.”

The restaurant has 17 indoor seats and a covered, south-facing patio with space for 30 more guests. It was designed to feel equally comfortable for a casual meal, an evening with friends or a quick stop on the way home.

Pizza, Pasta and More

The Lower Lonsdale menu includes Ignite’s full selection of stone-fired pizzas, made with Canadian non-GMO flour and our signature low-sodium dough, fermented for five days. Guests can choose from classic meat pizzas and a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. Gluten-friendly crust is also available.

The menu extends beyond pizza with fresh salads, pasta, house-made tiramisu and Vancouver-made Uno Gelato. The fully licensed restaurant also offers a curated selection of beer, wine and house-made cocktails.

Meet the Lower Lonsdale Team

The new location is led by Store Manager Edward Camarena, who brings 15 years of food-industry experience and more than six years with Ignite.

Edward began as a pizza maker at Mount Pleasant before moving into leadership and managing the Gastown location for five years. In North Vancouver, his focus is on building a supportive team and creating an experience that feels welcoming from the moment guests arrive.

“North Vancouver feels like the perfect fit for Ignite—a strong sense of community, along with an appreciation for quality, connection and balance,” says Edward. “My goal is to create a welcoming space where guests feel at home.”

Join us for a slice, stay for dinner or order directly from Ignite for pickup or delivery. Delivery is also available through DoorDash and Uber Eats, and catering is available for groups of 5 to 500.
