Location: 2588 Main Street, Vancouver, BC V5T 3E4

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, In-person (40 hours per week) 

Salary: From $25 per hour. The pay range depends on experience; we offer an hourly rate plus average tips of approximately $3-4/hour.

We are searching for a Restaurant Supervisor at our Mount Pleasant location who is passionate about cuisine and enthusiastic about a total guest experience. This role requires a strong understanding of a food & beverage venue, including both the front AND back of house operations. Ignite Pizzeria offers guests a casual environment, popular for dine-in, take-out and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality customer experiences, across both front of house and back of house.
  • Lead, coach and motivate team members to deliver on service standards by creating an environment where staff are confident in offering swift, professional, and personalized customer, as well as anticipating guest needs.
  • Ensure food safety, quality, presentation and service standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance.
  • Availabilty to work during peak restaurant hours, including midday, evenings and weekends.
  • Handle customer inquiries and comments with professionalism, and foster positive guest relations
  • Assist with creating and implementing promotions from the marketing team to increase business levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations

Skills:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the restaurant industry in a supervisory role
  • Valid Food Safe and Serving it Right certifications (or willingness to obtain) an asset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Experience in training and developing staff members
  • Strong knowledge of Front of House and kitchen/Back of House operations
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wines and service styles.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, casual dining environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
