Ignite Pizzeria is hiring Kitchen Helpers for two locations: our original Mount Pleasant restaurant and our new North Vancouver location opening in Lower Lonsdale in July 2026.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Salary: $18.25-$19.00 per hour. The pay range depends on experience; we offer an hourly rate plus average tips of approximately $3-4/hour.

About Ignite Pizzeria

Ignite Pizzeria first opened its doors in the Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in 2017, followed by Gastown, Yaletown, and South Surrey. Ignite creates handmade artisanal pizza in a stone-baked oven, seeking quality, consistency, and generosity in all that we do. We use only the finest ingredients and aim to create the best quality pizza in the city. We are known for the pride we take in our handcrafted pizza, our amazing menu, and the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

We’re looking for Kitchen Helpers (full time or part time). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizza dough, including mixing, rolling, portioning, and organizing dough for service
• Assist with ingredient preparation for pizza toppings, sauces, salads, and other menu items
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary at all times
• Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and prep checklists
• Support pizza makers and kitchen team members during busy service
• Help with dishwashing, stocking, and general kitchen duties
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Rotate, label, and organize ingredients properly
• Assist with inventory, stock levels, and ingredient preparation lists
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to management
• Work as part of a team and support other duties as needed

Requirements:

• A friendly disposition and passionate work ethic
• Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.
• Food safety experience an asset
• A great communicator and listener
